Choosing Between the Mighty+ Medic and Volcano Medic 2
If you are deciding between Storz & Bickel’s portable and desktop dry herb vaporisers, the main difference is how you want to use it day to day. The Mighty+ Medic is the handheld option, while the Volcano Medic 2 is designed as a desktop unit.
The Mighty+ Medic makes more sense if flexibility is important to you. It is easier to move around with, easier to keep close by, and better suited to people who do not want their device set up in one permanent spot. The Volcano Medic 2 suits a more home-based setup. It stays in one place and is made for a different style of use, with Storz & Bickel noting that it can be used with either the Tube or the Medic Valve Balloon.
That is really what it comes down to. If you want something portable and easy to pick up when you need it, the Mighty+ Medic is likely the better fit. If you prefer a dedicated desktop setup and like the idea of a device designed to stay at home, the Volcano Medic 2 is the stronger option.
